David runs Hegwood's day-to-day. Capacity planning, customer commitments, scheduling, and the quality bar across every shift funnel through him. With a career built around scaling manufacturing operations and integrating cross-functional teams, David brings the operational discipline that turns a five-decade manufacturer into a partner OEMs and engineering firms can plan around. He's the integrator keeping engineering, fabrication, programming, and QC moving as one team. An electrical controls engineer by training, David began his career designing and integrating industrial control panels for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods industries.

David leads engineering at Hegwood. Schematics, bill-of-materials optimization, design review, and the technical conversations with OEMs and engineering firms during quote and pre-build all sit on his desk. His career has been built at the intersection of electrical engineering rigor and production-floor pragmatism, a combination that lets him catch problems on paper, push back on overspec when it matters, and partner with customer engineering teams as a peer rather than a vendor. He owns the conviction that engineer-led panels are different in kind from commodity ones.

Donna is our Accounting and General Administration Manager. She has been a valuable employee of Hegwood Automation and Controls since 1992.  She keeps the business side of the company running, from accounting and billing to the day-to-day administration that holds everything together.

Greg has been part of the team since high school. A skilled panel builder and patient trainer, he sets the floor's working tempo and is the first person new fabricators learn from.

Taylor leads QC. A native of Norcross, GA, he's been in the electrical industry since 2011 and completed a four-year IEC Electrical Apprenticeship Program. Every panel that ships passes through his department.

Michael is a Georgia Tech mechanical engineering graduate, lifelong maker, and someone who deeply appreciates the Hegwood legacy. He sets the strategic direction across partnerships, capacity, and the long arc of the business. He empowers the team to know when an engineering call matters more than a balance-sheet one.

Kirk grew up in the family business and holds a B.S. in M.E.T. from Southern Polytechnic. After serving as president of Hegwood Automation and Controls and steering the company's evolution from electrical services into an automation-and-controls partnership, Kirk now serves as Executive Advisor, bringing five decades of perspective to the team and the customers we serve.
